Asumura

OVERVIEW

The Asumura Property is located in SW Ghana and is a disseminated open pit target on western boundary of the Sefwi-Bibiani belt, one of the two large Birimian age greenstone belts in southwest Ghana. The deposit is 65 km south from Newmont's Ahafo deposits (reserver12.2 million ounces at 2.21 g/t Au; resource 17 Moz) on the same belt boundary. Like Ahafo, mineralization at Asumura is spatially associated with within belt granitoid stocks, dikes and sills. Keegan has an easy earn-in option go acquire the exploration license at Asumura. A 3.5% NSR with an option to purchase for US$2M. The government is a 10% owner

ASUMURA PROJECT ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Exploration to date successfully Identified three target areas, the Mangoase target area with 8 km strike, the Twiapasi target area with 4 km of strike, and the Wagyakrom target area with 2 km of strike. The Mangoase target area occurs on a major regional northeast striking magnetic break that transects tha entire property. All targets have significant IP resistivity anomalies associated with mineralization. Keegan recently completed a first phase reverse circulation and core drilling program. Highlights include intercepts of 28.5 m of 0.79 g/t Au, including 3.1 m @ 3.23 g/t Au in a core hole in Mangoase; 25.5 m @0.72 g/t Au, including 4.5 m @ 2.79 g/t Au in an reverse circulation hole at Mangoase; and 3 m @ 2.68 g/t Au and 10.8 m @ 1.68 g/t Au including 1.52 m @ 9.94 g/t Au.

ASUMURA OBJECTIVES

Keegan recently completed its first phase of reverse circulation and core drilling and. Keegan is currently synthesizing and interpret all data in preparation for a fall drilling campaign. Keegan will continue to drill test the existing structures it has identified and will identify and test new targets using newly acquired aeromagnetic data for the entire northern portion of the Sefwi-bebani belt.
